1 June 2018

On June 1, in the walls of one of the most famous universities in the country, the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, a meeting of the AVK confectionery company founder with the students of the institution was held.

Based on his experience, Volodymyr Avramenko told the youth how AVK had been created, the Company that is one of the leaders of the Ukrainian confectionary market included in the top 100 best in the world.

The students found out about real situations and fateful decisions, which had formed the mission and values of AVK, its corporate culture, and development strategy.

“I will always be proud of the fact that AVK is the same age as independent Ukraine. It is we who, at that time, laid the first bricks in the foundation of the confectionery industry of the country, because in the 1990s, it was AVK that owned 100% of the chocolate market. The Company continues to make a big contribution to the Ukrainian economy,” said Volodymyr Avramenko.

The students had a unique opportunity to put questions directly to the founder of a large business. Young people were mostly interested in the personal motivation of the businessman, his leadership qualities, secrets of success, and sources of inspiration that encouraged him to move forward.

“The most important thing is to believe in yourself, your ability, listen to your inner voice, set ambitious goals, and not waste time! My meeting with you today is also a challenge; I’m used to always move forward,” stated the founder of the AVK Company.

During the meeting, the students of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy tasted new products of the Company, KRESKO sticks, and a novelty from the Zhuvilend trade mark — FRUTO BANDA candies, as well as shared their thoughts. Most young people highly appreciated the taste, design, and packaging of the products.

Addressing the youth, Volodymyr Fedorovych said, “Your opinion is very important! You are the Generation Y and you think in a special way. We were once like you, brave and freedom-loving. AVK is waiting for the people like you!”.

During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the AVK confectionery company and the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. The Company invites talented undergraduate students to undertake an internship.
