AVK introduces little ukrainians to the chocolatier crofession

The AVK Company joined the National Career-Guidance Project called the City of Professions, where it represented the confectionery industry. So, during the next few months, kids from different parts of Ukraine will be able to learn more about the chocolatier profession, witness how their favorite candies come into being, and get involved in their production.   

According to the organizers, the goal of the event is to enable every child to try their hand at different professions on more than twenty-five sites represented.

The City of Professions project was launched on April 29 in Kyiv. In a makeshift town located in the Taras Shevchenko Park, the location of the AVK enjoyed big popularity among the children. Boys and girls tried on the profession of a chocolatier with great interest. The kids plunged into the world of sweets playing. A mini sweets plant was operating especially for young confectioners. In addition, the kids were happy jumping on the large, bright Zhuvilend trampoline and had plenty of riding on children’s locomotive. And the tasting, of course. Sweet-teeth found it especially pleasing to taste sweets.

“It’s the first time the AVK Company joined the City of Professions project. We are happy to represent the confectionery industry and to show the children who creates sweets and how. To choose the right profession means to find yourself, and hence, to be happy. I believe that this project will help the little ones to decide on their lives’ work. Who knows, maybe we will be the ones to help some choose the profession of their dream and become a famous chocolatier?” - said Volodymyr Avramenko, General Director of the AVK Company.

By the way, according to the rules of the project, every child (from 2 to 17 years old) received a passport when entering the town, a map of the professions represented, and an opportunity to “get a job.” Every participant of the event received a reward for conscientious work: a conditional salary to spend on delicacies.

Volodymyr Avramenko shares his impressions, “I watched the boys and girls walk out of our playground in an excellent mood. What could be better than the smiling faces of kids?! When it is AVK that causes these emotions, it’s priceless”.

Within the City of Professions project, AVK will travel across Ukraine, bringing a real holiday of fun and sweets to children. In September, the City of Professions will return to the capital again.
