AVK company denies reports on manufacturing products in the territory beyond the control of Ukraine

AVK is a national confectionery company that manufactures its products in Ukraine exclusively at its production site in the city of Dnipro.   

The information distributed through Facebook and by media representatives that the Company produces its sweets in a territory beyond the control of Ukraine is false.

The indication of the city of Donetsk as a manufacturing address on the price tag of our Company’s product, namely the Bam-Buk cookery, sold in the chain of Auchan stores, is merely an unfortunate misunderstanding. There is an assumption that as a result of the recent viral cyberattack against Ukrainian websites and networks, the Auchan database failed.

The Auchan network is currently conducting an official investigation into the unfortunate incident. We are waiting for the official results to be immediately disclosed on our resources and keep this issue under constant control.

For our part, we publish the supporting documentation about the place of manufacture of the Bam-Buk product.
