“The Winter Country” opened its doors

“The Winter Country”, the largest family-centered entertainment area, is now opened in Kyiv. Under the sponsorship of AVK, the TV channel “STB”, which is the creator of the project, will be surprising and gladdening visitors for three months.

An incredibly-looking house of Grandfather Frost will become the heart of “The Winter Country”. There are living Grandfather Frost and his assistants, and there too is the collection of real miracles and most hidden secrets in this house.

In the residence, anyone can personally send their New Year’s wishes to Grandfather Frost, watch snow fall, get all the feeling of a happy hero of the tale, enjoy coffee and sweets by AVK and make wonderful photos. This is the place where you can meet a professional photographer, who will make photos of your family in the fabulous residence at weekends from 11:00 to 13:00. Photos will be available for download on the website avk.ua.

“For several years AVK gives a hand to Grandfather Frost with presenting children sweet gifts and equipping his residence – says Executive Director of AVK, Roman Babets. – In this way we aim to make a carefree childhood of little sweet-tooths last longer, as well as evoking in children a special anticipation of holiday miracles”.

Apart from the residence, the project brings together the best winter entertainments: a huge skating rink, fun slides, live reindeer, skating and dog sledding, ice sculptures exhibition, a real ice bar and many more.

“Ukraine experiences a lack of places where everyone can find an activity to their liking. We want “The Winter Country” to become our Disneyland and we are working hard for this. At the same time, the social issues have not too slipped our mind: we thought of different ticket prices for those who prefer planning their leisure time in advance, as well as the special policy of entry for exempts. The cost of entry will be lower at workdays, while many categories of people will be always welcome to enter for free,” says the project manager Eugene Mushkin.

Even adults need fairy tales, belief in miracles and sweet gifts. For this very reason, “The Winter Country” is the place where everyone will find a wide range of Ukrainians’ favorite original confectionery, chocolates and gifts by AVK.
